Associate, CM KYC Quality Assurance & Data Integrity

Toronto, ON

Hybrid/In-office

We are seeking a KYC Quality Assurance & Data Integrity Lead to support quality oversight, control validation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives within a global KYC operation.

This role will act as a key partner in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and effectiveness of KYC reviews performed within an outsourced delivery model.

Responsibilities

- Perform quality assurance reviews of completed KYC files.

- Execute sampling, testing, and control validation activities.

- Analyze quality metrics and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

- Support recurring reporting and governance activities.

- Monitor adherence to established KYC standards and procedures.

- Partner with stakeholders to enhance controls, reporting, and operational effectiveness.

- Support data integrity initiatives and platform transition activities.

- Contribute to process improvement and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

Required

- 5+ years of KYC experience.

- Previous QA, QC, audit, testing, or controls experience.

- Experience working with KYC metrics and reporting.

- Advanced Excel skills.

- Experience providing oversight, feedback, and guidance to operational teams.

- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

- Power BI experience.

- Fen-E experience.

- Team Lead or supervisory experience.

- ACAMS certification.

- Change management experience.

Additional Notes:

Reporting to the Vice President, CM KYC Quality Assurance & Data Integrity, this Associate role will support day-to-day operations and oversight activities of the Capital Markets AML KYC Quality Assurance (QA) function.

Responsibilities include coordinating sampling and file assignment, producing recurring reporting and analysis, reviewing job aids and training materials, representing the function as a Quality subject matter expert, and driving improvements to procedures, controls, and operating efficiency in an outsourced KYC delivery model.

This role involves a significant degree of stakeholder collaboration, engagement and management in the form of feedback, mentorship, guidance, and reporting trend analysis upward. Capital Markets is a high-paced, quickly-evolving business that centres on client experience. The successful candidate has an ability to prioritize tasks and initiatives independently and constantly in order to deliver consistent understanding of the state of the KYC program’s quality and timeliness, including root cause identification where challenges persist.

Experience

- Deep understanding of global Capital Markets KYC requirements, gained from 5+ years of direct AML KYC file completion experience in the Capital Markets industry;

- Prior Quality Control and Quality Assurance experience; ideally in an outsourced vendor model;

- Experience creating and/or editing procedures;

- Experience supporting or implementing change management initiatives including process updates, stakeholder communication and adoption support;

- Demonstrated ability to drive manual processes toward automation through data normalization.

Skills

- Intermediate MS suite, with particular emphasis on Excel, Sharepoint, and PowerPoint;

- Familiarity with CoPilot, ChatGPT, and Claude;

- Demonstrated advanced written and oral communication skills; specifically including the ability to tailor message to audience knowledge;

- Reporting, report generation, and trend analysis;

- Ability to provide and receive improvement-oriented feedback;

- ACAMS certification preferred;

- Experience with Fen-E an asset.
