Position Summary

The Senior Total Rewards Partner serves as an advanced subject matter expert responsible for leading complex regional and cross-regional Total Rewards initiatives and providing independent advisory support to HR and business leaders. This is a hands-on, advanced Total Rewards role responsible for both leading assigned workstreams and directly executing high-quality analytical, operational, and governance activities. The role combines subject matter expertise, independent judgment, and practical execution across compensation, benefits, job architecture, market benchmarking, pay transparency, pay equity, and annual Total Rewards processes.

Reports to: Director, Global Total Rewards or Senior Manager, Total Rewards

Key Partners: HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, M&A teams, and external consultants and survey providers

Responsibilities

Total Rewards Program Delivery & Governance

- Lead regional Total Rewards program delivery, ensuring alignment with global frameworks while adapting to local market, regulatory, and business requirements.

- Own and apply job architecture, job evaluation, salary structures, and related governance processes for assigned region(s). Participate in salary surveys and market studies while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

- Lead annual compensation processes for assigned populations, including merit planning, incentive administration, salary structure reviews, and equity-related processes, as applicable.

- Evaluate and recommend improvements to compensation and benefits programs based on market data, regulatory developments, employee impact, and business needs.

- Develop and deliver communications, training, and guidance for HR, managers, and employees on complex Total Rewards topics.

Advisory, Analytics & Decision Support

- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on compensation, benefits, job leveling, market competitiveness, pay transparency, and pay equity matters.

- Lead complex analyses of compensation, benefits, and workforce data, translating findings into executive-ready insights and recommendations.

- Develop financial models, dashboards, and scenario analyses to support Total Rewards decisions, program design, and annual planning.

- Independently conduct market benchmarking, competitive analyses, and salary survey submissions, ensuring strong data governance and interpretation.

- Provide advanced compensation guidance for complex new hire, promotion, retention, and organizational design situations.

Compliance, Policy & M&A Integration

- Lead pay transparency readiness and related compliance workstreams across applicable jurisdictions, including compensation data analysis, job architecture alignment, pay range governance, stakeholder preparation, and implementation planning.

- Interpret regulatory and market developments and recommend practical updates to Total Rewards practices and tools in partnership with key stakeholders.

- Lead Total Rewards due diligence and integration workstreams for M&A activity within assigned scope, including compensation and benefits assessments, job leveling, market pricing, and transition planning.

- Identify process gaps, resolve operational issues, and recommend improvements to strengthen Total Rewards governance and delivery.

- Drive cross-regional Total Rewards projects, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, analysis, recommendations, and implementation activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree or HR certification preferred.

- 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits within a multinational organization, supporting multiple markets.

- Demonstrated experience leading complex compensation or Total Rewards projects across multiple markets or business units.

- Advanced knowledge of job architecture, job evaluation methodologies, market benchmarking, salary surveys, salary structure design, pay transparency, pay equity, incentives, and related regulatory requirements.

- Proven ability to influence HR and business leaders through data-driven recommendations and complex analytical work.

- Experience leading cross-functional workstreams involving HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, M&A, and external advisors.

- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data modeling, and visualization) and PowerPoint.

- Fluency in English required; advanced German highly desirable.
