About KTSA

We are KTSA – KPMG Technology Services Americas.

A Service Delivery Center of KPMG US, with offices in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and a growing network of remote talent across the country. We deliver high-value technology, consulting, and corporate support services to KPMG US and its clients.

At KTSA, our Employer Value Proposition is clear: Explore.

Explore isn’t just a word — it’s how we grow, lead, and thrive. It’s the mindset that drives our culture and shapes every opportunity:

- Experience a collaborative, inclusive, and multicultural workplace where you belong.

- Excel by creating impact and leaving your mark on global projects.

- Expand your potential with real career paths, learning programs, and mentorship.

- Express your individuality — come as you are, and thrive as your authentic self.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee work product(s) and team of issue managers. Lead small to medium size projects, managing deadlines, expectations, and often contributing to staffing decisions and supervising the work performed by more junior staff; providing coaching, mentoring and feedback to such individuals.

- Serve as the end-to-end Issue Manager for assigned issues and action plans, leading investigations, facilitating root cause analysis, defining remediation plans and timelines, preparing for and leading working sessions and shepherding issues through verified closure.

- Build strong relationships with issue and remediation owners to promote accountability, monitor progress against milestones, challenge insufficient evidence, remove obstacles, and escalate risks or delays as needed to ensure timely remediation.

- Effectively balance competing deadlines across multiple concurrent remediation efforts, audit response timelines, and ad-hoc risk escalation requests, and maintain high quality and compliance standards.

- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with junior staff peers, and leaders. Evaluate risk reduction and mitigation activities to continually drive towards risk reduction methodologies. Work with second and third lines of defense to ensure organizational risk measures and internal audits measure and evaluate the appropriate risk areas.

- Lead the development of accurate, timely, and comprehensive monthly and quarterly leadership reporting and presentations, providing actionable insights and proactively escalating risks, delays, and issue aging trends to issue owners and senior leadership to drive timely resolution.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of risk and compliance experience within a large professional services environment specializing in IT assurance and cyber security. Relevant industry certifications, e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP preferred.

- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise issue management programs, providing oversight and quality review of IT audit work papers, or performing IT audits is preferred.

- Management ability to analyze and synthesize technical data and convey it to non-technical audiences. Proven ability to partner with technical owners, risk executives, and audit stakeholders to negotiate remediation timelines, manage escalations, and report status/risk metrics to senior leadership.

- Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork. Ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members.

- Demonstrated understanding of disparate compliance frameworks and risk management principles, as well as experience making decisions to optimize overall operational risk. Understanding of key business objectives and how to balance business objectives against IT risks.

- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (e.g., Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot) and the ability to build custom AI agents. Familiarity with reporting and data visualization platforms, such as Power BI, is also preferred.

And because we know that thriving at work also means thriving in life, we back this mindset with KTSAMÁS, our total rewards program, designed to support your well-being, goals, and personal milestones.
