About the role

The Onsite Resource Manager serves as the primary field leader for resource coordination, partner management, and daily operational execution across assigned Rapid Data Center Deployment (RDD) sites. Acting as the critical link between field operations and central workforce governance, this role establishes the daily onsite WFM rhythm—overseeing scheduling, technician dispatch, attendance verification, and site-level compliance to ensure project milestones are met safely and on schedule. This hands-on, high-visibility role translates project work plans into daily field execution. The Onsite Resource Manager actively resolves real-time staffing bottlenecks, enforces timekeeping discipline, and manages multi-vendor site dynamics to maintain an accountable, audit-ready, and highly productive field workforce.

What you'll be doing

Onsite Operations & Communication

- Serve as the main point of contact for all onsite resource coordination across internal employees, contractors, and partner personnel.

- Maintain daily communication with site leadership and project sponsors regarding staffing status, schedule impacts, and operational progress.

- Route material risks, safety concerns, staffing shortfalls, and quality deficiencies through established site governance to central WFM and RDD leadership.

Scheduling, Dispatch & Daily Resource Management

- Build, consolidate, and maintain site-level shift schedules aligned with project timelines, skill requirements, and planned coverage.

- Direct shifts start/end reconciliations, deploying cross-functional crews and reallocating capacity to address competing site priorities.

- Monitor daily attendance, shift exceptions, and call-offs while validating timekeeping data to ensure accurate hours and utilization reporting.

Partner & Field Coordination

- Oversee partner labor execution, ensuring third-party teams adhere to work instructions, quality standards, safety protocols, and productivity targets.

- Coordinate badging, site clearance, safety orientation, and onboarding/offboarding logistics for all incoming field personnel.

- Partner with QA and Scope Acceptance leads to ensure completed work is inspected and open quality punch-lists are factored into daily resource assignments.

Reporting, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

- Produce daily site workforce reports detailing scheduled vs. actual headcount, attendance exceptions, active risks, and action items.

- Maintain complete records of daily rosters, timekeeping, and safety clearances to ensure constant audit readiness.

- Identify opportunities to streamline field workflows and time-tracking while championing company core values and site safety standards.

What you have

- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, IT, Logistics, or a related field preferred.

- 5+ years in onsite operations, workforce management, or field coordination—with 2+ years specifically supporting data center, mission-critical infrastructure, or complex construction-adjacent environments preferred.

- Proven success managing multi-vendor teams, overseeing daily crew dispatch, enforcing safety/quality standards, and driving partner performance accountability.

- Hands-on experience directing daily shift handoffs, resolving coverage gaps, validating timekeeping, and managing dynamic on-site resource allocations.

- Strong leadership presence with the ability to maintain open stakeholder communication, navigate changing field conditions, and rigorously follow issue escalation protocols.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams) and modern WFM, project tracking, or resource management platforms.

- Uncompromising commitment to site safety, quality assurance, and operational excellence.

- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
