Junior/Mid Accountant Cash Application (f/m/d) with English
Your role
- Timely and accurate processing of bank transactions, especially payments from customers via various methods (e.g., bank transfer, check, credit card)
- Matching payments to invoices, resolve short/over-payments and FX variances; collaborating with Collections to reduce unallocated cash
- Keeping customer master data and payment histories current; handling refunds, offsets, prepayments, and approved write-offs
- Supporting month- and year-end close (accruals, bad debt estimates, reconciliations) and producing concise AR reports
- Contributing to process migrations, document and maintaining SOPs, and driving continuous improvement/automation (e.g., auto-matching rules)
Your profile
- At least first experience in accounting or SSC/BPO (preferably in AR or finance)
- Very good command of English
- SAP knowledge welcomed
- Fluent German is a plus
