About the Role
This IC Validation Engineer role focuses on the testing and validation of advanced semiconductor products. The IC Validation Engineer will develop validation methodologies, analyse silicon performance and support product development activities. The IC Validation Engineer will work closely with design, product and test engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute validation plans for new silicon devices
Perform laboratory-based electrical and functional testing
Analyse performance data and identify root causes of issues
Develop automated test and measurement solutions
Support silicon bring-up and debugging activities
Work closely with design and product engineering teams
Document results and communicate findings to stakeholders
Contribute to improvements in validation methodologies and processes
Required Skills:
Experience in semiconductor validation, characterisation or test
Strong understanding of analogue and mixed-signal electronics
Experience using laboratory test equipment
Ability to analyse complex datasets and troubleshoot issues
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with automated test development
Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
Familiarity with high-speed interfaces or communication systems
Experience working in multidisciplinary semiconductor development teams
