YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the strategic link between business and technology teams, leading analysis activities in complex environments involving multiple stakeholders, interconnected systems, and evolving business needs.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Leading the discovery, analysis, and definition of business and operational requirements for complex initiatives, translating business objectives into clear roadmaps, requirements, and delivery priorities, while supporting business case development and evaluating solution options
- Building trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, product leaders, and technical teams, facilitating executive workshops, requirements sessions, and steering committees, and managing competing priorities across multiple departments
- Defining and maintaining business, functional, and non-functional requirements, developing user journeys, process models, business rules, use cases, and solution specifications, ensuring requirements are traceable, testable, and aligned with strategic objectives
- Working closely with Product Owners, Architects, Project Managers, Developers, and Test Teams to ensure successful delivery, supporting backlog management, release planning, and functional validation and acceptance testing activities
- Analysing business and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, developing KPIs, performance frameworks, and reporting structures, leveraging tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel to generate actionable insights
- Mentoring and coaching junior and medior Business Analysts, promoting best practices in business analysis, requirements management, and stakeholder engagement, and contributing to capability development and governance frameworks
- Contributing to presales activities, solution shaping, and customer discussions, bringing a strong business perspective and sector expertise in the field of defence and complex regulated environments
YOUR PROFILE
As a Senior Business Analyst, you are an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented professional, able to navigate complex, regulated, and high-stakes environments with ease, while uniting teams around shared objectives.
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, and bring a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or equivalent role
- You have proven experience delivering complex digital transformation or technology projects, with a solid command of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies, and a strong understanding of software development lifecycles and enterprise environments
- You demonstrate technical expertise in requirements engineering, business process modelling, functional analysis, user story development, and data governance, complemented by proficiency in tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel
- You possess excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and a strong capacity to influence decision-making without direct authority
- You are professionally proficient in both French and English (mandatory), with strong written and verbal communication skills, and bring strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and the ability to manage ambiguity in fast-changing environments
- Experience in defence, aerospace, telecommunications, automotive, or highly regulated environments is considered a significant asset
