Based in Oxford, our quantum computing client is recruiting for a Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer with Modelling experience to join their expanding team. This role offers a hybrid working model and very attractive package.
This company is building the next generation of quantum computing systems, tackling problems beyond the reach of today’s supercomputers. This role has a two-pronged focus. The Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer will be responsible for the complete design flow process of analog and mixed-signal blocks, from specification all the way through to tape-out and silicon validation. In addition, they will own top-level chip integration and modelling as part of the CMOS development flow.
As the right candidate, you will be:
- Highly experienced in analog IC design, with a track record of delivering high-performance designs in fast-paced environment and experience of multiple tape-outs
- Comfortable designing amplifiers, precision filters, with strong mixed-signal expertise (ADCs/DACs)
- Experienced in modelling using SystemVerilog, MATLAB or Python / NumPy, with strong scripting skills to automate model generation, checking and regression
- Able to bridge theory, simulation, and real-world hardware
