Business Analyst / SME Databricks - Finance Transformation

Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst / SME Databricks to join a strategic Finance Transformation programme. The role will bridge the gap between business and technology teams, supporting the delivery of finance-related data initiatives and helping define how Databricks can be leveraged to improve reporting, analytics, and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from Finance stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
- Identify and define Databricks use cases supporting Finance Transformation objectives.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Support process improvement initiatives and data-driven decision making.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to align business needs and priorities.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, defect management, and go-live activities.
- Prepare business cases, documentation, and implementation recommendations.
- Work closely with Finance, Data, and Technology teams to ensure solution adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Finance or Data Transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks and modern data platforms.
- Experience gathering requirements and writing user stories.
- Understanding of Finance processes, reporting, and analytics.
- Experience supporting testing activities including SIT and UAT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
- Fluency in English.
