Your responsibilities
- You will support the team in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines according to client business needs and embedding them end-to-end into the given data stack
- On this role, you will assist in maintaining and optimizing data infrastructure required for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from a wide variety of data sources
- As a junior Data Engineer, you will build, test, and deploy data artifacts on cloud platforms using modern version control best practices
- You will collaborate with senior engineers to ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance by applying data quality assurance methods
- Monitoring data pipeline performance and assisting in identifying opportunities for pipeline optimization
- In this role, you will work closely together with both reeeliance and client staff as part of an agile project team
Our requirements
- Solid foundational knowledge of data modeling concepts and modern data warehousing architectures
- Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating complex datasets
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaborative development
- Practical exposure to or understanding of working within cloud environments (such as Azure or AWS)
- Eagerness to learn new ETL/ELT tools, cloud technologies, and software engineering practices
- Strong problem-solving attitude and an enthusiastic, proactive approach to learning
- Ability to work both independently on delegated tasks and collaboratively within agile project teams
- A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- Articulate with impeccable verbal and written communication skills in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level). Strong & discerning listener
