IT Networks Engineer - Cisco

Location: Vienna - on-site - Monday - Friday.

Salary: € Dependent upon experience

3-5 Years of hands-on experience with enterprise network engineering, operations and support.

NAC

ServiceNow IT Service Management

Experience with enterprise network monitoring, automation, performance analysis and troubleshooting tools.

Strong understanding of network security principles, authentication technologies, and access control frameworks.

Preferred Certification:

CCNP Enterprise

Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Wireless

Cisco SD-WAN Certification

ITIL Foundation Certification

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across campus, data centre and branch environments.

Manage and support Cisco wireless LAN controllers (WLCs) access points, RF optimisation, wireless security and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

Provide technical expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), 802.1X authentication, Network Access Control (NAC), and identity-based network security solutions.

Manage and maintain Cisco DNA Center for network automation, assurance, policy-based provisioning, inventory management, and operational analytics.

Support Cisco routing and switching environments, including Catalyst and Nexus platforms, ensuring high availability and optimal network performance.

Configure, troubleshoot and optimise Cisco IOS and NX-OS based devices.

Design, deploy and support Cisco SD-WAN solutions for secure and resilient branch and data centre connectivity

Perform advanced trouble shooting of routing, switching, wireless, authentication, security and connectivity issues.

Monitor network health, availability, utilisation and capacity to ensure optimal service delivery and proactive issue resolution.

Implement network security best practices, including segmentation, access control, policy enforcement and compliance requirements.

Participate in network upgrades, migrations, maintenance activities, lifecycle management and infrastructure refresh projects.
