Operations in India support turbomachinery, engines, power and propulsion solutions, along with global engineering, product development, and manufacturing services. Job Purpose
Design Engineering: During the training period, they will gain hands-on exposure to the design of turbomachinery components and assemblies, with particular emphasis on flow-path design, 3D modelling and manufacturing drawings.
Calculation Engineering: During the training period, they will develop fundamentals in engineering calculations supporting the design, performance and reliability of turbomachinery.
System Engineering: During the training period, they will develop an understanding of how individual turbomachinery components are integrated into a complete equipment package and project.
Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Engineering: During the training period, they will gain foundational exposure to the electrical, instrumentation and control systems associated with steam turbines, compressors and their auxiliary systems.
Key responsibilities
During The Program, The Apprentice Will
- Support engineers in executing assigned engineering activities.
- Perform basic engineering calculations under supervision.
- Prepare and modify engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Support flow-path and component design activities.
- Assist in preparation/review of technical specifications and engineering documents.
- Support bought-out equipment engineering and vendor document reviews.
- Develop an understanding of contractual and customer requirements.
- Assist with instrumentation, electrical and controls engineering activities.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Testing and Project teams.
- Maintain engineering documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete structured technical assignments and a final engineering project.
Desirable Skills
- Freshers passed out in 2025-2026 or passing out in 2026-27.
- Additional NX and AutoCAD tools skills (Mechanical Engineers).
- Strong academic foundation in relevant engineering fundamentals.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. / M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics.
