A global manufacturing organisation is investing heavily in its Dublin operation and is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer who wants to take ownership of major projects today, with a clear pathway to step into a Team Lead position within the first 6 months.
You’ll initially remain hands-on, working across critical production systems and complex automation projects. As you establish yourself within the team, you’ll progressively take on more leadership responsibility and play a key role in shaping the future of the automation function.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and delivering automation projects across a complex manufacturing site
- Working hands-on with PLCs, control systems and industrial automation technologies
- Troubleshooting complex automation and equipment issues
- Driving improvements in system performance, reliability and efficiency
- Taking increasing responsibility for technical leadership and team development
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years' experience in Automation Engineering
- Manufacturing, pharmaceutical or industrial experience
- Strong experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
- Hands-on PLC and control systems experience
