Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brussels, Paris or Germany (remote), with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing a pipeline of prospects, and driving revenue growth for LexisNexis Legal AI solutions in the Belgian market and potentially broader European region. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with prospective and existing clients, conducting needs assessments, preparing and delivering tailored presentations and product demonstrations, and negotiating commercial proposals and contracts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in B2B environments, ideally within legal, technology, or professional services sectors.
- Strong skills in prospecting, pipeline management, and opportunity qualification, with the ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and data-driven decision-making to track activity, forecast results, and optimize performance.
- Knowledge of the legal industry, AI-driven solutions, or information services is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other European languages will be a plus.
