As we continue to grow our presence across Southeast Asia, we are looking for a Data Consultant to join our team and work on exciting data-driven projects for leading regional and global clients.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Data Consultant, you will work as part of multidisciplinary project teams to help clients solve business challenges through data, analytics, and technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding client business needs and translating them into structured analytical problems.
- Collecting, cleaning, analysing, and interpreting data to identify meaningful insights and business opportunities.
- Conducting research and analysis to support strategic and data-driven recommendations.
- Translating analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights.
- Preparing client presentations, reports, dashboards, and other project deliverables.
- Supporting the development and presentation of recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across Consulting, Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, and AI.
- Managing assigned project tasks and deliverables to ensure they are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Contributing to proposals, business cases, research, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Continuously developing knowledge of Data, AI, analytics, technology, and relevant industry trends.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, data/analytics, technology, digital, or another relevant field.
- Experience working with data to solve business problems and generate actionable insights.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Good business acumen and the ability to connect analytical findings with business challenges.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interest in Data, AI, digital transformation, and technology.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within diverse and multicultural teams.
- A proactive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced consulting environment.
What Would Give You an Advantage
While not mandatory, the following would be considered strong advantages:
- Experience in the financial services industry, including banking, payments, insurance, fintech, or other financial institutions.
- Hands-on experience with data and analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Previous experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders in a consulting or project environment.
- Exposure to Data & AI, digital transformation, analytics, or technology consulting projects.
- Experience working in a multicultural or regional environment, particularly across Southeast Asia.
