What you'll do
- Design and build backend services and APIs handling high-volume, high-stakes financial transactions
- Own full features end-to-end across payments, rewards, account services, and partner integrations
- Shape technical architecture as the platform scales
- Partner with frontend and mobile engineers on polished, full-stack features
- Raise the bar on reliability, performance, and observability across backend systems
What you bring
- 6+ years building backend or full-stack systems in production
- Strong experience with Python (Django preferred)
- Skill designing APIs, data models, and services on PostgreSQL and AWS
Nice to have
- Comfort in distributed, high-availability production environments
- A builder's mindset — you like owning things from concept to production
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in a Computer Science, Engineering or related field
