As a Medior Full Stack Engineer (.NET/Modern Frontend), you will join a friendly, agile, and fully remote DevOps team. We have a clear mission: We want to focus our efforts on evolving and enhancing our core Digital Signing application. To achieve this, your role will be a balance between building these new capabilities and helping us maintain and stabilize our existing ecosystem (Digital Signing, Document Creation, and File Transfer).

Your duties will revolve around designing and delivering resilient software solutions, ensuring high code quality through strong review practices and automated testing (we own our code from design to deployment!). We embrace modern tooling, so you will leverage AI-assisted tools to drive productivity and optimize our processes. As part of the team, you will participate in all agile ceremonies and actively contribute with your ideas and expertise.

Skill set

- Team spirit.

- Autonomous and self-organized.

- Be a persistent, creative problem-solver.

- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Outstanding collaboration.

- Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English is our daily working language (meetings, documentation, and code). Our team is distributed in the Netherlands and in Spain.

- A positive, resilient attitude. We are looking for someone who brings good energy to the team, enjoys helping others, and navigates maintenance or legacy challenges with a constructive mindset.

Technical skill set

- At least 5+ years' experience in web and software development (Medior level).

- Strong backend experience: Solid knowledge of .NET / .NET Core architecture and API programming experience (REST).

- Modern frontend knowledge: Experience with a modern frontend framework like React, Vue, or Angular using TypeScript. (Note: Our stack is Angular, but if you come from React/Vue and are willing to learn, we want you!)

- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude) to accelerate workflows while ensuring code quality.

- Hands-on experience or strong interest in integrating LLMs and generative-AI services into applications (e.g., Azure OpenAI Service).

- Familiarity with concepts like prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or vector search.

- Microsoft Azure experience.

- Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions experience (CI/CD pipelines).

- SQL experience.

- Experience handling integration challenges (authentication, rate limiting, error handling, resiliency, and messaging like Service Bus/Event Grid).

- Awareness of data-privacy principles (GDPR/AVG), including the safe handling of personal and payroll data (encryption in transit and at rest).

- Strong code review practices and critical thinking to evaluate technical trade-offs.

- Experience working in an agile environment.

- Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, source control management, build processes, automated testing, and operations.

Nice to have:

- Direct hands-on experience specifically with Angular (TypeScript).

- Experience with Document Generation libraries (e.g., TextControl).

- Specific domain knowledge in Digital Signing or File Transfer applications.

Responsibilities

- Drive our core product: Design, build, and maintain full-stack features fully hosted in Microsoft Azure, focusing on the evolution and enhancement of our core Digital Signing application for Youforce.

- Support the ecosystem: Maintain, stabilize, and troubleshoot our existing ecosystem (Digital Signing, Document Creation, and File Transfer), which includes navigating legacy technologies and keeping our support baseline under control.

- Own the quality: Take full ownership of software testing (Unit, Integration, E2E) and performance. We don't have a dedicated QA team, so our engineers own the code from design to deployment.

- Smart AI Integration: Responsibly integrate AI APIs (like LLMs) into our products when needed, ensuring they handle personal and payroll data in strict compliance with GDPR/AVG and least-privilege principles.

- AI Monitoring & Guardrails: Build guardrails, evaluation, and monitoring for any AI features you integrate, keeping a close eye on quality, cost, latency, safety, and bias.

- Architecture & Problem Solving: Architect and implement software solutions by analyzing business context, technical feasibility, and system scalability.

- Code Excellence: Evaluate, refactor, and review code actively. Ensure high security standards, architectural integrity, and efficiency.

- Take Ownership: Make informed decisions quickly and take ownership of services and applications at scale.

- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in agile team meetings, propose creative solutions to daily challenges, share knowledge, and work collaboratively to achieve our goals.
