Role Description As an AI Engineer F/M at talamys, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models that solve complex business and technical problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, select appropriate algorithms, build prototypes, and integrate AI solutions into production-grade software systems. Daily tasks include data exploration and preprocessing, model training and evaluation, performance optimization, and implementation of APIs or services for model consumption. You will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and testing to ensure reliability and maintainability of AI pipelines. This is a full-time remote role, offering flexibility while requiring proactive communication and collaboration with distributed team members.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including algorithms, data structures, and version control.
- Experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including model selection, training, and optimization.
- Hands-on skills in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text preprocessing, language models, and evaluation of NLP systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI (e.g., Python), and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and pipeline automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with attention to code quality and documentation.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in remote, multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience deploying models to production (e.g., REST APIs, microservices, cloud platforms) is a strong plus.
- Interest in ethical and responsible AI practices, including fairness, transparency, and data privacy.
