Purpose
This team manager’s role is responsible for:
- Developing and managing new businesses
- Leading and guiding the current sales team with a go-to-market strategy in enabling the sales of our product offerings to Data Center, BFSI, Government, Infrastructure, Manufacturing market segments.
- Continuous improvement of the cluster business unit’s sales team
- Identifying areas of improvements and discussions with manager on required actions to bridge any gaps
- Providing support required to level up the capabilities of sales team to meet with clients’ requirements and market expectations.
Work with End-users, M&E Consultants, EPC Contractors, and Partners to convert opportunities into sales orders with approved margins.

Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and market penetration for power conversion products in data centre, healthcare, industry, C&I, energy sector and IT distribution.
- Set sales targets, forecast sales volumes, and manage the sales budget.
Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.

Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team performance.
Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and business growth.

Market and Competitive Analysis
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Provide insights and recommendations to the product development team to enhance the product portfolio.

Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, consultants, EPC, and partners.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline to enhance the product portfolio

Sales Operations
- Oversee sales operations, including lead generation, sales processes, and CRM management.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Support in cross selling power switching and monitoring product to customer base.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Business
- Minimum 8 years of project sales experience for mission critical equipment in electrical industries or in similar industry
- Good understanding of the Hyperscale, Enterprise, Co-lo Datacentre and IT distribution markets
Project sales experience, preferably in the Data center segment.
