Role Overview
As an AI/ML Engineer, you will drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning solutions across the enterprise. You will collaborate closely with AI Architects, Cloud Engineers, and CRM Development Teams to deliver scalable, ethical, and high-impact AI systems. Your expertise will span both Generative AI models (e.g., Gemini, GPT-4) and traditional NLP/Deep Learning architectures. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep ML expertise, strong system design, and mentorship skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Deployment: Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and GenAI models in collaboration with AI Architects, Cloud Engineers, and CRM Development Teams.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in ML model development, optimization, and MLOps.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product owners, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- AI Governance & Ethics: Enforce responsible AI principles, ensuring data privacy compliance and actively monitoring models for bias.
- Innovation & Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging industry trends, tools, and research to continuously enhance enterprise AI capabilities.
- Documentation: Document system architectures, workflows, and complete model lifecycles to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and traditional ML/NLP/Deep Learning techniques.
- Core Skills: High proficiency in Python and relevant ML frameworks; strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms.
- System Architecture: Proven ability to architect scalable ML systems and integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise platforms.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, paired with strong communication and team leadership abilities.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience within Healthcare Payer or Healthcare Technology domain environments.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong grasp of data privacy, security frameworks, and ethical AI practices.
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and project management.
