Job Title – Senior Financial Analyst

Duration – Full Time Role

Location - Sumter South Carolina

Salary range - $70 to $80K annually

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis activities for the organization. This individual will serve as a trusted business partner to both Finance and Accounting, helping drive process improvements, reporting automation, and data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, systems-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where continuous improvement is valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain standardized weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.

- Support monthly forecasting, financial close processes, annual budgeting, and long-range financial planning activities.

- Partner with Accounting to provide reporting and analytical support during month-end and quarter-end close cycles.

- Serve as the Finance team's subject matter expert for reporting enhancements, process automation, and efficiency improvements.

- Leverage Excel and financial systems to streamline workflows and improve reporting accuracy.

- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to management.

- Assist with dashboard development, KPI tracking, and management reporting packages.

- Lead and support ad hoc financial analyses, reporting requests, and special projects as assigned.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and business leaders to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.

Qualification

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required.

- CPA and/or MBA preferred but not required.

Experience

- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in finance, financial analysis, accounting, or related analytical roles.

- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.

- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.

Technical Skills

- Advanced MS Excel skills required.

- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or IBM TM1 is highly preferred.

- Strong aptitude for data analysis, process improvement, and financial systems.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organization.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments.
