Role Level: Senior-level Atlassian Systems Engineer / SME
What to find:
- A hands-on Atlassian administrator who can independently support a large enterprise Jira and Confluence environment with thousands of users.
- The strongest candidates will combine deep Jira Cloud administration with Confluence, workflows/JQL, automation, Marketplace applications, scripting, REST APIs, integrations, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-facing skills.
Top recruiting priorities — Required:
- 5+ years administering Atlassian products, especially Jira.
- Large-scale Atlassian environment experience supporting thousands of users.
- Strong Jira Cloud administration and configuration.
- Strong Confluence administration and space configuration.
- Deep Jira workflows, JQL, permissions, custom fields, screen schemes, and notifications.
- Jira automation and workflow/process optimization.
- REST APIs/JSON plus Python and/or Groovy scripting.
- Enterprise troubleshooting, integrations, Marketplace applications/plugins, and cloud/on-premises Atlassian environments.
