About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately entering customer orders and preparing quotes for contract furniture dealers. The position requires accessing and cross-referencing multiple resources to ensure that all information is correct before orders and quotes are finalized.
The ideal candidate will be thorough, efficient, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage a high volume of data entry and quoting requests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue quotes for contract furniture dealers
- Enter orders accurately into the system
- Gather and cross-check information from multiple resources (catalogs, pricing guides, vendor systems)
- Communicate with dealers and sales reps to clarify details or resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and provide prompt responses to dealer inquiries
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Experience in order entry, quoting, or customer service (contract furniture or manufacturing industry a plus)
- Strong computer skills (ERP/order systems, Microsoft Office)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and professional English communication skills
