The Agile Monkeys
We're a boutique AI firm building production AI systems for regulated industries (insurance, banking, healthcare, legal) for clients across the US, Latam, Europe and the GCC. We also build and scale our own AI-native products through our Venture Builder. AI isn't a layer we add on top; it's how we work and what we ship.
The Role
You'd join the Mobile pod as a mid-to-senior engineer, fully embedded with Product, Design, QA and backend engineering. The app is live on both stores, so you're shipping to real users early on.
We're not looking for someone to hand tickets to. You'd pick up work and own it end to end, from the first conversation about what we're building to the release that puts it in people's hands.
What the work actually looks like:
- You build and ship features in React Native, Expo and TypeScript, on both iOS and Android.
- You go into native Swift or Kotlin when something can't be solved cleanly in React Native.
- You own releases: mobile CI/CD, App Store and Google Play submissions, and everything that goes sideways on the way.
- You work directly with Product, Design, QA and backend, with no layer of translation in between.
- You use AI tools (Cursor, Claude, whatever earns its place) as part of the daily engineering job, not as an occasional experiment.
- You take work from unclear to shipped without waiting for someone to break it down for you.
Who this is for
If you want a role where the spec arrives finished and your job is to implement it, this isn't it. Here you're expected to have opinions about what gets built and how, and to move without much direction.
You'll fit if:
- You've shipped production apps to both stores with React Native, Expo and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- You're comfortable reading and writing native iOS/Android code when React Native isn't enough.
- Mobile CI/CD and store releases are familiar ground, not something you'd have to figure out first.
- AI-first development is already how you work: Cursor, Claude or similar, every day.
- You get productive fast and treat direction as context, not as instructions.
- You work well inside a cross-functional pod and communicate in English with no friction.
Good to have, not required
Domain experience in the industries we work in. We'd take strong mobile engineering, ownership and real AI adoption over domain knowledge every time. Also welcome: performance work on large React Native apps, writing native modules, release automation (Fastlane, EAS), and experience with analytics or crash monitoring in production apps.
On your background
Skip the resume that lists every library you've touched. Show us an app you shipped and then kept alive, something you had to solve in native code because React Native couldn't, and a release process you made less painful. Links to the stores, GitHub or technical writing are very welcome.
What you get
Fully remote, with our Las Palmas, Tenerife and Madrid offices open to you whenever you want them.
If you like owning the whole path from idea to store release, this is that job. Let's talk!
