What the candidate will actually do
- Conduct mystery shopping and online research to collect product/brand information.
- Review and analyse terms & conditions, pricing, features, and other product information.
- Track market trends and update rating/research methodologies.
- Maintain the company's Insight Portal with accurate information.
- Use Google Sheets/Excel to score and compare different brands.
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
Ideal candidate profile
Education:
- B.Com / BBA / BBS
- M.Com / MBA Finance
Experience/skills to prioritize:
- Excel – Must-have
- Look for Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, filtering, sorting, data cleaning, etc.
- Internet research – Strong Google/search skills and ability to validate information from multiple sources.
- Financial/product research – Candidates from banking, insurance, fintech, financial research, product research or comparison websites could be relevant.
- Attention to detail – Important because the candidate will be scoring brands and maintaining a ratings database.
- English communication – Strong reading and written English, since they need to interpret T&Cs and document findings.
- Analytical mindset – Ability to compare information and derive a score/rating logically.
- Organization – Ability to handle several research projects and deadlines.
- Candidate must have insurance sector research experience.
