ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Mane Consulting is representing a New South Wales government organisation in their search for a Project Manager - Housing (Capital Works & Compliance), to assist in delivering a number of civil / capital works and compliance upgrade projects across the NSW region. The organisation is managing a broad portfolio of housing infrastucture projects and require assistance from an experienced Project Manager with relevant experience in delivering similar projects within the NSW government space. This is a daily-rate, contract opportunity, currently expected to run until the end of December 2026.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Project Manager - Housing (Capital works & Compliance), you will assist in managing and delivering a wide variety of capital works and compliance upgrade projects across a state-wide housing infrastructure portfolio. You'll have the opportunity to work across projects ranging from housing façades & structural developments, to roof upgrades, restorations, stormwater assets and demolitions. This is a fast-paced role requiring a highly organised approach and prior expertise in housing infrastructure and government civil project management, with projects ranging in value from hundreds of thousands to several million dollars. This role is based in Parramatta, Sydney and requires significant inter-state travel during working hours.
ABOUT YOU
The be successful in the Project Manager - Housing (Capital Works & Compliance) role you should have:
- A valid Drivers License, White Card & Willingness to conduct relevant WWCC & Criminal background checks
- Immediate or short-term availability to commence
- Direct NSW government civil/capital works project management experience
- Experience in delivering projects to support housing construction, restoration, compliance upgrades and demolitions
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
