Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Senior Data & Finance Analyst to own our end-to-end billing process—from data collection and calculation to invoicing, reconciliation, and month-end close. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high accuracy, governance, and scalability for this critical operation, combining financial vision with strong technical skills in data and automation, and acting as a strategic partner to Finance and Operations leadership.
What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end billing process: volume and value calculation, fee application according to contractual rules for each client, and related financial analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity fueling the billing process, auditing discrepancies between operations, systems, and contracts, and driving cross-functional resolution.
- Manage the monthly revenue close, performing variance analysis (actual vs. budget, month-over-month) and delivering strategic business insights to leadership.
- Build and optimize complex SQL queries (BigQuery/GCP) for billing data extraction, validation, and reconciliation.
- Automate routine billing workflows (extraction, calculation, validation, and report generation) using Python, Google Apps Script, or similar tools to eliminate manual effort and reduce operational risk.
- Design, build, and maintain billing and revenue dashboards (Looker Studio) tracking accuracy, timeliness, and customer-level margins.
- Document business rules, contractual terms, and data workflows to ensure end-to-end governance, traceability, and compliance.
- Partner with the FP&A team on revenue forecasting, pricing strategies, and customer profitability analysis based on billing data.
- Act as the cross-functional interface across Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Tech teams to seamlessly onboard new clients, contracts, and pricing structures into the billing framework.
- Serve as a direct point of contact for clients, providing clear explanations of billing processes, results, and reporting.
The skills and experience you will bring
Requirements & Qualifications:
1- Financial & Operations Experience: Solid background in Finance (billing, revenue operations), preferably in tech environments or fast-growing startups.
2- Advanced SQL skills: Expertise in writing optimized queries, data manipulation, and modeling large datasets.

5- Solid BI background: Experience with Business Intelligence tools, with a focus on Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar platforms.
6- Detail-Oriented & Autonomous: Strong orientation toward control, data accuracy, and the ability to own a critical process end-to-end.

8- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
Nice to Haves (Bonus Points): You don’t need to meet every single item below—these are a bonus, not a requirement to apply!
1- Cloud & Data Architecture knowledge: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) and dbt.
2- Workflow automation expertise: Practical experience building automated workflows using n8n, Make/Integromat, or APIs.
3- Invoicing Systems: Hands-on experience with enterprise billing and invoicing platforms.
