BMW Toronto Motorrad is looking for an experienced, driven, and passionate Sales Manager to join our team.

As a BMW Motorrad Canada Retailer of the Year, we take pride in delivering an exceptional experience for our customers while building a team and culture that reflects the BMW Motorrad brand.

We're looking for someone who shares that passion.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales and sales leadership, understands inventory and lead management, and is comfortable taking ownership of the day-to-day performance of a motorcycle sales department.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations and performance of the BMW Toronto Motorrad sales department.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll work closely with the General Manager and Product Advisors to maximize sales opportunities, develop the team, manage our new and pre-owned motorcycle inventory, and ensure every lead receives the attention and follow-up it deserves.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop our Motorrad Product Advisors

- Exceed sales objectives and monitor individual and department performance

- Manage incoming internet, OEM, phone, and showroom leads

- Monitor response times, follow-up activity, appointments, and lead conversion

- Review the sales pipeline and ensure opportunities are being actively managed

- Assist Product Advisors with deal structure, negotiations, and closing

- Manage new, demonstrator, and pre-owned motorcycle inventory

- Monitor inventory aging, days supply, turn rates, pricing, and model mix

- Assist with used motorcycle appraisals, acquisitions, pricing, and merchandising

- Develop strategies to effectively retail aging inventory

- Ensure motorcycles are properly presented and advertised across applicable retail channels

- Maintain strong CRM processes and sales team accountability

- Ensure all OEM training targets are met

- Work with management on sales events, promotions, and customer campaigns

- Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction throughout the ownership experience

- Ensure dealership, OMVIC, and BMW Motorrad processes and standards are consistently followed

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate will have:

- A genuine passion for BMW Motorrad, the BMW brand, and motorcycles

- Previous automotive, motorcycle, powersports, or related retail sales experience

- Sales management experience or a demonstrated ability to lead a sales team

- Strong knowledge of CRM, lead management, and sales processes

- Experience managing or working closely with new and pre-owned inventory

- An understanding of inventory aging, pricing, merchandising, and turn

- Strong closing and negotiation skills

- The ability to coach, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Comfort working with sales reports, KPIs, and performance metrics

- An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership of the business

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- A professional presentation appropriate for a premium automotive and motorcycle brand

- A valid OMVIC license

Motorcycle industry experience and knowledge of BMW Motorrad products are considered strong assets.

More Than a Desk Manager

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of the business.

Someone who knows what's happening with the opportunities in the pipeline, understands why motorcycles are aging in inventory, works alongside Product Advisors to close business, and looks for ways to continually improve results.

You should be equally comfortable coaching a salesperson, speaking with a customer, reviewing leads, appraising a trade, analyzing inventory, and helping close a deal.

What We Offer

BMW Toronto Motorrad offers a competitive employment package that includes:

- 40-hour work week

- Health and dental benefits

- RRSP program

- Profit sharing

- BMW and MINI Employee Lease Program

- Training and development opportunities

- The opportunity to represent one of the world's leading premium motorcycle brands

- The opportunity to join a BMW Motorrad Canada Retailer of the Year team
