Working across cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, unified communications and workplace technology, the business offers engineers the opportunity to work on a broad range of technologies while building long-term relationships with clients and having a genuine influence on technical direction.
You'll be joining a close-knit team where engineers are trusted to own outcomes, work directly with clients and have a genuine say in how services are delivered. With direct access to the directors, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to key technical decisions while helping shape the organisation's Microsoft cloud and security practice.
Your new role
As a Systems Engineer, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of client environments, building trusted relationships and acting as a key technical advisor. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, leading projects and staying close to technology.
You'll design, implement and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, SharePoint Online, Teams and Teams Calling environments while delivering infrastructure, cloud, security and improvement projects from inception through to completion.
Working across a diverse client base, you'll act as the escalation point for complex technical issues while also contributing to BAU support activities. You'll proactively identify opportunities to improve security, reliability and user experience, helping clients get the most from their technology investments.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Projects Engineer or similar role
- MSP experience is a must
- Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop experience
- Hands-on experience with Intune, Conditional Access and modern identity management
- Solid networking capability across DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, wireless and firewalls
- Windows Server and Active Directory experience
- Proven ability to deliver projects and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Hold an Australian driving licence
Highly regarded:
- Exposure to Huntress, Airlock Digital, Microsoft Defender or similar security platforms
- Experience with NinjaOne, Acronis or similar RMM and backup platforms
- Teams Calling, Cisco CUCM or 3CX administration, including Auto Attendants, Call Queues, Direct Routing and Operator Connect
- Microsoft Teams Rooms, video conferencing and AV integration experience
