About the Role
We are building embedded payment integrations into leading ERP platforms (including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and similar systems), enabling our clients to process payments, manage multi-currency accounts, and reconcile transactions natively within their business systems.
As Technical Solutions Manager, you will join at the ground floor of this build, acting as the critical bridge between our Development team, IT delivery contractors, and the business requirements that define a successful embedded payments product. In the initial phase, you will work at a functional level — translating payments and ERP domain knowledge into clear requirements, validating designs, and stress-testing functional decisions before they're built. As the product matures and moves toward market, the role will evolve into a client-facing Technical Solutions Manager, owning end-to-end technical onboarding and implementation for new clients through to go-live.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a fintech product from its functional foundations through to full market implementation.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in a functional/business analyst, solutions engineering, technical project management, or similar role — ideally within embedded finance, fintech, or payments.
- Strong understanding of payments concepts: FX rates, multi-currency accounts, reconciliation processes, and payment lifecycle/tracking.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage) is a strong advantage.
- Work closely with development teams — able to translate business requirements into specifications engineers can build from, and to review technical designs from a functional lens.
- Working knowledge of how systems integrate via APIs (RESTful architecture preferred); you don't need to write code, but you need to speak the language fluently with engineers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and payments concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with experience tracking initiatives, requirements, and deliverables using standard project management tools and methodologies.
- A self-starter with high ownership, resilience, and a team-first approach, comfortable operating in a fast-moving, still-forming product environment.
- As the role evolves: willingness and aptitude to move into a client-facing implementation/solutions role, including running demos and owning client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
