Position Overview:

We are seeking a Global Communications, Media Relations & Operations Intern to support global initiatives that strengthen Siemens' brand, reputation, and thought leadership worldwide. You will work closely with communications professionals across Media Relations, Reputation & Thought Leadership, and Communications Operations while contributing to high-visibility projects, global events, and executive reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support global communications and media relations activities.

- Track, analyze, and report media coverage and communications performance.

- Assist with content creation for newsletters, social media, presentations, and internal communications.

- Support major industry events, including media engagement and coordination activities.

- Contribute to planning, documentation, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

- Help manage communications tools and platforms such as SharePoint, Cision, and Microsoft 365 applications.

- Collaborate with global stakeholders on strategic communications projects.

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

- Remote work within the United States of America with possibility for hybrid if located near Wilsonville, OR; Livonia, MI; Milford, OH; Plano, TX; St Louis, MO; Pasadena, CA.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

- Analytical mindset and interest in working with data and reporting.

- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.

- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a global environment.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
