Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineering Manager to lead the development, scale, and operational excellence of our AI-driven platform. This role partners closely with Architecture, Product Management, AI/ML Operations, and Video Intelligence teams to build a unified intelligence platform that powers personalized and intelligent customer experiences.
This is a senior engineering leadership position that requires a strong software engineering foundation, hands-on technical expertise, and proven experience delivering production-scale AI, machine learning, and real-time serving systems. The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with deep technical knowledge in LLMs, agentic systems, machine learning infrastructure, and distributed engineering execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of real-time data serving, search, feature delivery, and model-serving platforms.
- Own LLM orchestration, conversational AI, RAG, and agentic workflow architectures.
- Drive ML pipeline engineering, behavioral modeling, and customer insights generation.
- Establish monitoring, observability, drift detection, and production readiness practices.
- Manage engineering delivery, cross-functional dependencies, and roadmap execution.
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent while fostering a high-performing team culture.
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in engineering leadership.
- Experience building and scaling real-time data, ML, or AI platforms in production.
- Hands-on expertise with LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, and machine learning pipelines.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including Python, system design, testing, and code review.
- Experience managing distributed engineering teams and delivering highly reliable services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or cloud AI/ML certification.
- Experience in IoT, smart home, or connected device ecosystems.
- Familiarity with vector databases, OpenSearch, feature stores, and MLOps tooling.
- Experience with CI/CD, experimentation platforms, and production ML deployment strategies.
Travel: Up to 10% domestic and international travel.
