Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction planning and scheduling
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in preparation and monitoring of project schedules using industry-standard software (MS Project)
- Experience in baseline programme preparation, progress tracking, and delay analysis
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare baseline project schedules in line with contract requirements and project scope
- Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and detailed activity sequencing
- Monitor project progress and update schedules on a regular basis
- Identify critical path activities and potential delays
- Conduct delay analysis and prepare recovery schedules where required
- Coordinate with project teams (engineering, procurement, construction) to ensure alignment of schedules
- Prepare and submit progress reports, including S-curve, look-ahead programmes, and variance analysis
- Support claims preparation related to time extensions (EOT) and disruptions
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and reporting standards (FIDIC or equivalent)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in:
- Primavera P6
- Microsoft Project (mandatory)
- Advanced MS Excel (mandatory)
Knowledge of:
- Critical Path Method (CPM)
- Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Construction methodologies and sequencing
