As a Senior Consultant, you will work on varied and complex engagements across industries and company sizes. - Review and analyze business plans, financial statements, agreements, board materials, financial models and other financial and operational information.

- Develop and review financial models, apply appropriate valuation methodologies and perform sensitivity, scenario and other financial analyses using tools such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ.

- Conduct industry, company and economic research, and translate the findings into clear valuation insights and supportable conclusions.

- Prepare, review and edit reports, analyses, memoranda and presentations that are technically sound, concise and tailored to the intended audience.

- Interact professionally with clients and stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and C-suite executives, as well as KPMG partners and senior leaders.

- Serve as a valuation specialist on audit engagements by working closely with audit teams, understanding the relevant reporting requirements, communicating findings clearly and meeting critical deadlines.

- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and collaborative team culture in which people learn from one another and share ideas and experience.

- Use technology, data tools and AI-enabled solutions responsibly to improve the quality and efficiency of our work, while applying professional judgment and following applicable policies.

What You Bring To The Role

- A CPA or CFA designation, or progress toward one of these designations, together with 3+ years of relevant post-graduate work experience.

- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, economics, business or another relevant field.

- Enrollment in, or an intention to enroll in, the CBV Program, with a strong interest in obtaining the CBV designation.

- Relevant experience in valuation, financial modelling, transaction advisory, audit, corporate finance or a related field.

- Strong financial modelling skills, including the ability to build, review and interpret integrated financial models and valuation analyses.

- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or other accounting standards, including fair value considerations.

- Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence working with clients, audit teams and internal stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.

- Sound project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deliverable timelines.

- A proactive, curious and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek input or escalate issues.

- Strong interpersonal skills, professional maturity and a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with a diverse group of clients and colleagues.

- Proficiency with valuation and financial analysis tools, and an interest in using technology and AI responsibly to enhance analysis, collaboration and deliverables.

AI Usage

We embrace the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the candidate experience and streamline our recruitment processes. Every hiring decision is made by our hiring managers and recruitment professionals, who are equipped with training that empowers them to use these tools responsibly. AI technologies used in our recruitment process undergo detailed risk assessments, including security and privacy requirements, that align with KPMG’s Trusted AI framework.

We believe technology should empower human judgment, not replace it. It’s one of the many ways we’re delivering on our vision of being a technology-first, people-driven firm.
