At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for a Technical Functional Analyst to join our client's team in Madrid. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background who enjoys understanding complex systems, configuring business rules, analysing requirements and working closely with business stakeholders.
This is not a software developer position. Instead, you will act as the bridge between business needs and system configuration within a critical reservation and inventory management platform.
💪 Main responsibilities:
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Configure business rules within a railway reservation platform.
- Support pricing, fares, schedules, promotions and inventory setup.
- Validate whether new business requests can be implemented within the system.
- Execute functional tests and configuration validations.
- Investigate issues and perform functional analysis.
- Work with APIs and system integrations.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers and Business Teams.
- Manage and follow up application incidents through Jira.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and system configurations.
👀 Who are you?
- 2-5 years of experience in one or more of the following: Technical Functional Analysis, Functional Consulting, ERP Consulting, Application Support, Systems Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Configuration Management
- Ability to understand complex business processes and convert them into application configurations.
- Experience working with: APIs, Postman, Jira, System integrations, Functional testing
- English, Spanish, French: fluent
Nice to Have
- ERP configuration experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.)
- Transportation, travel or ticketing industry exposure
- Reservation or inventory management systems
- Railway sector knowledge
- S3 Passenger
