The Role
We are seeking an ERP Project Manager to join a cross-functional transformation team driving the implementation of a new ERP system (SAP S/4HANA) across the Supply Chain Management organization. This role acts as the SCM-side Project Manager for the ERP rollout, covering Planning, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
You will lead business-side review, testing, and change management activities, and work to ensure smooth integration across functions and within the new ERP platform. This is a high-visibility position with direct exposure to senior SCM leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across the business, IT, and external implementation partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirement workshops with Planning, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to define business needs and drive adherence to standard SAP processes
- Manage testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and dry-run/cutover activities, coordinating issue resolution with IT and the implementation partner
- Support productivity and cost-saving goals by validating process designs against SAP standard functionality
- Build SCM capability through training and a super-user network to support user adoption
- Track project milestones, risks, and issues, escalating to PMO/steering committee as needed
- Act as the key liaison between SCM business teams and IT/external consultants throughout design, build, test, and go-live phases
- Support post-go-live stabilization, prioritizing fixes and driving continuous process improvement
Your Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent level Japanese (N1), business level English
- at least 3 years of project management experience for enterprise level solution implementation project
- Strong project management skills, including planning, risk/issue management, and budget or vendor oversight
- Experience implementing or migrating to an ERP system (SAP S/4HANA must), in either greenfield or brownfield environments
- Familiarity with standard ERP implementation methodology (Design-Build-Test-Dry Run-Go-Live)
- Working knowledge of core SAP modules and related IT systems
- Practical experience in SCM operations using SAP modules
- Experience in business requirements definition and process design
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional coordination and drive consensus among stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on global ERP implementation programs
- Business transformation experience within FMCG or manufacturing industries
- Familiarity with AI or data analytics applications
