Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Units in our Waltham MA location..
Key Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to patients and families.
- Maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
- Providing education to patients and families.
- Facilitating group therapies.
- Overseeing behavioral health specialist staff.
- 24, 32 or36 hours, schedule is either 1) day/evening rotating (approx 50%), occasional overnights, every other weekend and rotating holidays or 2) nights and every other weekend.
Education
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in nursing
Experience:
- 1+ years of RN experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
** This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on for RNs with 1 or more years of related RN experience. (Internal candidates and former BCH employees who have worked at BCH in the past 2 years are not eligible).
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
