EBC is one of the most intimate luxury stays in the hills. Now we're premiumising it, and we want it to be the finest resort in Mussoorie. We're looking for the person who will be at the heart of that journey.
The Role
This is a hands-on role, not a boss's chair. As Resort Operations Manager, you'll run the property day to day, work shoulder to shoulder with your team, and set the standard for how EBC looks, feels and serves.

The full property, day to day: rooms, restaurant, experiences, upkeep and safety
Housekeeping standards that match India's best boutique hotels
Guest satisfaction, reviews and the small moments guests remember
Hiring, training and leading a lean on-ground team
Writing the SOPs that will define how EBC runs
Bonfires, forest picnics, trails, private dining and celebrations, executed without a hitch
Why This Role Is Different
You'll be an integral part of premiumising EBC, not just keeping it running.
You work directly with the owner, with real authority to fix what isn't working.
A small property means your fingerprints are on everything. Nothing gets lost in hierarchy.
Room to grow as EBC expands
What You Bring
5–10 years in operations at an experiential boutique or luxury property (think The Postcard Hotel, SUJÁN, Evolve Back or similar)
Attention to detail is second nature. You spot the crooked cushion, the smudged glass and the flickering bulb before the guest does.
Deep housekeeping expertise, and rooms that show it
A track record of lifting guest scores and fixing recurring complaints
Experience hiring and training teams, not just managing rosters
A hands-on approach. You lead by example, not by giving orders, and you'll happily turn down a bed or carry a tray when the day needs it.
Comfort with mountains, forests and the odd monsoon power cut
A degree or diploma in hotel management is preferred.
