Job Summary
The translates strategic business requirements into formal, value-driven product roadmaps, working in close collaboration with Business and Information & Technology (I&T) stakeholders to operationalize them for initial development and continuous evolution. Managing the product through its entire lifecycle, the incumbent champion's the CN Business Process of Product Management—governing deliverables from inception to customer delivery to maximize business value, operational efficiency, and user experience. To ensure the product consistently meets evolving business demands, the Product Manager proactively gathers customer feedback to drive user satisfaction, while balancing market trends against CN's core I&T architecture and safety standards .
Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and enterprise security tools, with the ability to incorporate security requirements and risk considerations into product strategy, roadmap planning, and solution delivery.
Main Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Establish trusted relationships between Business and I&T to ensure open communications and aligned product expectations
- Translate business and operational needs into concrete technical solutions through a formal product roadmap
- Collaborate with business teams to capture, refine, and enrich requirements for new and existing products
- Develop a continuous pipeline of innovative ideas and future product evolution opportunities
- Support the annual budget planning process led by Finance
- Advise business leaders on emerging and disruptive technologies that can enhance business capabilities and models
- Measure stakeholder satisfaction using established feedback channels and metrics (e.g., Net Promoter Score)
Product Life c ycle Management
- Build a continuous pipeline of innovative product ideas.
- Engage key stakeholders to establish a shared vision of product goals and priorities.
- Develop a strategic product roadmap tightly aligned with business needs and priorities.
- Prioritize product features and requirements in continuous collaboration with business teams.
- Manage requirements dynamically throughout the project lifecycle using industry-standard capture techniques.
- Track and report the status of features and requirements as they progress into the production environment.
- Analyze technical components proactively to identify potential issues and plan capacity for future business demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully commercialize and realize innovative product concepts.
- Evaluate competitive and alternative solutions to identify critical capabilities that delight internal and external customers.
- Balance short-term delivery wins with long-term strategic goals across the entire product lifecycle

Requirements
Experience
Product Management
- Minimum 5 years overall work experience
- Minimum 3 years demonstrating technical leadership qualities and/or overseeing deliverables
- Experience in product management or related role
- Experience of engaging leaders and other stakeholders to support business decisions
- Experience in shaping, building, scaling , and sustaining products
- Experience in diverse roles and increasing responsibilities across Business and I&T, although a business-only career is acceptable if business roles included sufficient technology focus
- Experience with Lean / Agile software delivery teams ( i.e. – Kanban)
- Candidates with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
Education /Certification/Designation
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or equivalent degree or experience
- Candidates with equivalent practical experience, education, or training will be considered
Technical S kills/Knowledge
- Business acumen, and the ability to communicat e with business domain stakeholders and technical staff alike
- L eadership, influence, communication s , presentation , and facilitation skills
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Knowledge of the Product Management discipline
- Familiarity with the principles of Design Thinking and Lean / Agile software delivery
- Ability to develop and execute a product vision to make that vision a reality, with a passion for building great products
- K nowledge of cybersecurity tools and platforms (e.g., IAM, PAM, SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, cloud security, and threat detection solutions) to support secure product design, implementation, and lifecycle management.
