About the Opportunity
The organization is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Product Operations & R&D Governance to lead the strategic execution of portfolio roadmap initiatives. Operating within a remote-first work environment, this role serves as the central driver of delivery governance, risk management, and performance tracking to ensure product milestones are met with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of roadmap initiatives, managing cross-functional dependencies and team alignment.
- Facilitate governance sessions and executive reporting to maintain operational transparency and accountability.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) that promote consistent, high-quality execution.
- Partner with senior leaders, product owners, and technical program managers to align organizational strategy with execution.
- Strengthen project management capabilities across the organization through coaching and enablement.
- Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across product and technology functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, operations, education, or a related field.
- 8+ years of SaaS industry experience.
- 6+ years of program or project management experience.
- PMP or PgMP certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Fluency in Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Advanced proficiency in process mapping tools.
- Proven track record of managing complex programs and budgets.
- Experience successfully collaborating in cross-functional, virtual team environments.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Inclusive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities according to business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the edtech or publishing industries.

- Salary Range: $120,000—$140,000 USD
Actual compensation is determined through individualized assessment based on several factors, including relevant experience, skill sets, and alignment with market research and compensation principles.
