We're looking for a Script Editor to join our creative team and help transform short drama scripts into compelling, production-ready stories. You'll work closely with writers and the creative team to improve story structure, pacing, character development, dialogue, emotional impact, hooks, twists, and cliffhangers. This is a great opportunity for aspiring writers, script editors, creative graduates, and freelancers who are passionate about short-form drama content and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and enhance short-drama scripts for structure, flow, and engagement.
- Identify and fix plot gaps, continuity issues, pacing problems, and inconsistencies.
- Strengthen character motivations, relationships, and emotional arcs.
- Refine dialogue to make it more natural, impactful, and engaging.
- Improve scene transitions and overall narrative flow.
- Create stronger hooks, twists, reveals, and cliffhangers.
- Ensure scripts are clear, consistent, and production-ready.
- Maintain appropriate screenplay/script formatting.
- Review scripts for grammar, spelling, dialogue flow, and readability.
- Work closely with writers and creative teams to provide constructive feedback.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions while maintaining the core story vision.
