GloComms is partnered with a leading AI infrastructure and HPC firm seeking a Senior Network Engineer to help design, build, automate, and support the high-performance network infrastructure powering large-scale compute environments. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the organization's global network infrastructure across data centers, cloud platforms, colocation environments, and HPC clusters. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network engineering, automation, and operations, along with a proven ability to support mission-critical infrastructure in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Network Infrastructure & Design
- Design, implement, and support large-scale network infrastructure across enterprise and data center environments.
- Drive initiatives focused on network scalability, availability, and overall performance.
- Support network architecture and ongoing infrastructure enhancements.
Operations & Automation
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network operations in production environments.
- Improve service reliability and operational efficiency through proactive support and process improvements.
- Leverage automation and infrastructure management tools to streamline deployments and ongoing administration.
Security, Collaboration & Leadership
- Promote secure, compliant, and resilient networking practices.
- Partner with infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams to support business and technology objectives.
- Contribute technical expertise through documentation, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise, cloud, or data center network environments.
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN and Routing.
- Experience with WAN, SD-WAN and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with network automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency with Python, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with network monitoring, telemetry, observability, performance tuning, and advanced troubleshooting.
