Type: Contract - W2
Pay Rate: $25/hr - $32/hr on W2
Shift: Day Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Interview Event: Friday, September 18
Supplier Requirement: Suppliers participating in the hiring event who are available to interview on September 18. Candidates will be interviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, saws, and related machining equipment to manufacture precision components. The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to interpret engineering specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, saws, and related machining equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor machining operations and make machine adjustments as needed.
- Calculate dimensions, tolerances, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments.
- Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience, including experience with lathes, mills, saws, and/or related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to apply algebra and geometry concepts to machining operations.
- Ability to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and make appropriate machine adjustments.
- Experience in a manufacturing or oilfield equipment production environment preferred.
