Insurance Manager – 12-Month Interim
London | Hybrid | 3 days per week in the office
We’re supporting a leading global financial markets and infrastructure organisation with the appointment of an Insurance Manager on a 12-month interim basis.
This is a hands-on role within a small, high-performing Corporate Insurance team, supporting the delivery of the Group’s global insurance strategy across a complex international organisation.
The Role
You’ll work closely with the Head of Corporate Insurance, taking responsibility for a broad range of insurance activity including:
- Managing and supporting corporate insurance placements and renewals
- Advising stakeholders on coverage, risk transfer and contractual insurance requirements
- Managing multinational insurance programmes, including local policies and cross-border requirements
- Building strong relationships with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting claims management and crisis response
- Supporting M&A insurance due diligence and integration
- Reviewing and negotiating policy wordings and insurance requirements
- Identifying emerging and evolving insurable risks
- Improving insurance governance, processes and controls
- Deputising for the Head of Corporate Insurance when required
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a pragmatic insurance professional with strong London Market knowledge and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders in a complex global organisation.
You’ll ideally have:
- 5+ years’ relevant insurance experience
- Hands-on experience across corporate insurance, broking, underwriting or in-house insurance
- Strong understanding of insurance placement, negotiation and programme management
- Practical Financial Lines experience – D&O, PI, Cyber, Crime or Management Liability
- Experience with global or multinational insurance programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with brokers, insurers and the London Market
Experience across claims, contractual insurance clauses, policy wording, M&A or risk-transfer strategy would be highly advantageous.
ACII or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
