🔹 About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Front-End Technical Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership for a large-scale customer-facing web and mobile ordering platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular, Ionic, Capacitor, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx, along with experience building and supporting applications across web, iOS, and Android.
This role will be responsible for front-end architecture, technical standards, development quality, mobile releases, CI/CD, performance, security, accessibility, and production support while working with a distributed engineering team.
👤 What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a senior front-end engineer/technical lead who:
- Has 12+ years of front-end engineering experience
- Has strong hands-on experience with Angular, Ionic, Capacitor, and TypeScript
- Is highly experienced with RxJS and NgRx
- Has worked on a shared codebase supporting web, iOS, and Android
- Understands native mobile development concepts and has working knowledge of Swift/Xcode and Kotlin/Java/Android Studio
- Has experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
- Understands mobile app build, testing, signing, and release processes
- Has experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and YAML pipelines
- Can lead code reviews, architecture discussions, technical decisions, and engineering standards
- Has experience mentoring and providing technical direction to distributed development teams
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture and development strategy for web and mobile applications
- Provide hands-on development and technical guidance using Angular, Ionic, Capacitor, and TypeScript
- Establish coding standards, reusable components, state-management patterns, testing standards, and code-review practices
- Design and troubleshoot mobile integrations such as push notifications, payments, geolocation, authentication, permissions, analytics, and deep linking
- Collaborate with backend teams on GraphQL, REST APIs, Node.js/Express, and cloud-based integrations
- Drive application performance, accessibility, security, scalability, and reliability
- Lead technical design, estimation, development, code reviews, testing, and release planning
- Support automated testing using tools such as Jest and Angular testing frameworks
- Coordinate iOS and Android release activities, including builds, certificates, provisioning, versioning, and store submissions
- Work with App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and Firebase App Distribution
- Maintain and improve web/mobile CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML
- Support production deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis
- Work closely with Product, UX, QA, Automation, DevOps, Security, and business stakeholders
- Mentor front-end developers and provide technical direction across distributed teams
