What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Building and maintaining React applications using modern JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Developing reusable components and managing application state effectively

- Contributing to code reviews, testing and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Collaborating with product, design and backend teams in an agile environment
- Optimising application performance and ensuring responsive design across devices
- Documenting code and participating in knowledge-sharing with the team
What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
Must-have
- 5–10 years' software development experience, with demonstrated expertise in React and JavaScript
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML and CSS
- Experience building scalable, component-based front-end applications
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices and distributed system concepts
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Next.js, TypeScript or Tailwind CSS
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery
- Familiarity with performance optimisation and accessibility standards
- Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, JavaScript Certification (JSE), freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries (React) or similar credentials
- Experience with Azure, AWS or containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
