About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to manage and oversee day-to-day car rental and chauffeur-driven transportation operations in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge, excellent team-management skills, and experience handling corporate clients, drivers, vehicles, and daily trip requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily transportation and car rental operations in Bangalore.
- Coordinate vehicle deployment, chauffeur allocation, trip schedules, and client requirements.
- Ensure timely pickup and drop-off while maintaining high service standards.
- Manage and monitor a team of chauffeurs, supervisors, and operations executives.
- Handle last-minute changes, breakdowns, delays, and operational escalations.
- Coordinate with corporate clients and respond promptly to their transportation requirements.
- Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, maintenance, and documentation.
- Ensure chauffeurs follow company policies, safety standards, grooming, and service protocols.
- Track daily trips, operational performance, and service quality.
- Maintain accurate operational reports, MIS, and records.
- Coordinate with internal teams including sales, accounts, HR, and customer support.
- Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and applicable transportation regulations.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in car rental, employee transportation, fleet management, travel, or mobility operations.
- Prior experience in a managerial/supervisory operations role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Bangalore routes and local transportation operations.
- Experience managing chauffeurs/drivers and fleet operations.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and operational MIS.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple trips simultaneously.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and handle operational emergencies when required.
