About the Opportunity
micro1 is engaging experienced Secretary & Administrative Assistants to contribute to a customer project focused on designing and producing expert-authored evaluation tasks for a frontier AI benchmark.
In this role, you will apply your practical administrative expertise to create realistic scenarios that test how AI systems handle process ownership, multi-tool coordination, professional communication, records management, scheduling, travel and expense workflows, and nuanced administrative decision-making.
No prior AI experience is required. Your real-world administrative knowledge, judgment, organization, and attention to detail are what matter most.
Responsibilities
- Design realistic, process-driven evaluation tasks that reflect complex administrative workflows.
- Create scenarios involving calendar reconciliation, travel coordination, expense workflows, records management, professional correspondence, and related administrative processes.
- Create and organize authentic supporting artifacts, including emails, calendar entries, receipts, meeting notes, contact records, spreadsheets, and other relevant documents.
- Define the correct outcome for each scenario and document the decisions an experienced administrative professional would make to achieve it.
- Develop comprehensive evaluation rubrics containing 35+ criteria to assess AI-agent performance.
- Evaluate both adherence to established processes and the quality of nuanced administrative judgment.
- Document administrative workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement based on current professional practices.
- Ensure scenarios reflect realistic workplace constraints, competing priorities, and multi-step coordination.
- Collaborate with project leads to calibrate task complexity and ensure evaluation scenarios represent challenges faced by experienced administrative professionals.
- Provide clear, structured feedback that can support the training and evaluation of AI systems.
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience in administrative support, secretarial work, executive assistance, office administration, or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of recurring administrative workflows and process management.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of ongoing processes rather than handling only ad-hoc assignments.
- Strong professional writing and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to coordinate information across multiple tools, systems, and data formats.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to evaluate administrative procedures and identify practical improvements.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex deliverables in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional administrative experience supporting teams or departments within mid-to-large organizations.
- Experience managing recurring administrative processes and workflows from end to end.
- Demonstrated experience documenting, evaluating, and improving established administrative procedures.
- Strong command of professional correspondence standards and workplace communication.
- Experience working with a variety of digital tools, platforms, and file formats, including CSVs, PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, calendars, and technical documents.
- Experience coordinating travel, expenses, meetings, records, calendars, or other multi-step administrative operations.
- Strong written judgment when handling sensitive, ambiguous, or competing administrative requirements.
- Interest in applying domain expertise to AI training, evaluation, or benchmark development.
