Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Staff Surveyor to supervise technicians and field crews while managing large-scale land surveying projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with professional surveyors and project teams to ensure projects are completed according to established scope, schedules, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with professional surveyors and project teams to execute land surveying projects according to established scope and schedules.
- Supervise technicians and field crews working on large-scale land surveying projects.
- Serve as a client contact for assigned projects.
- Sign and seal survey plats and drawings in accordance with applicable state regulations.
- Mentor and train technicians on state surveying requirements and QA/QC procedures.
- Support project and phase management activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience executing professional land surveying tasks.
- Experience managing projects or phases of large-scale surveying projects.
- Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License.
- Experience supervising technicians and field crews.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
