Wonolo (Work Now Locally) is disrupting the $140BN temporary staffing industry. Founded in 2014, Wonolo's mission is to help people find consistent work. Through our two-sided tech marketplace, we connect hundreds of businesses in need of front-line workers with 2 million underemployed workers in local markets across the United States, within minutes. Wonolo has raised over $200M in funding which will continue to help us empower the in-demand workforce by democratizing access to flexible work, opportunities to learn new skills, a living wage, and comprehensive portable benefits and perks.
We are looking for a Sales Operations Associate to work with Wonolo’s Marketing team. You will be employed by a third-party legal entity authorized to do business in the location in which you reside and you will provide contractual services to Wonolo’s Marketing team. We're looking for a hands-on, builder-first systems person to own the tooling that powers our go-to-market motion. You'll make our Sales, Customer Success, and Self-Serve tool stack work better together and with far less manual effort — connecting systems, automating repetitive work, and bringing a clear point of view on what belongs in the stack and why.
This is a role for someone who sees a manual process and instinctively asks, "Can this run itself?" You'll partner closely with the leaders across our customer-facing functions who own execution, bringing the requirements and cross-functional context that shape what gets built.
Our ideal candidate will be a good person who is also committed to doing good work. Are you excited about working with a close-knit team at a mission-driven, US-based technology company? If this is who you are or you can and desperately want to be, please read on!
We welcome qualified candidates located anywhere in Latin America #LI-Remote.
What you'll do:
Tooling Ownership, Evaluation, and Support
- Own and manage the GTM toolstack (Salesforce, Gong, Clay, Qualified, Zapier, Y-Meadows), serving as first-line support for reps and senior frontline managers on tooling questions
- Scope and drive GTM tooling initiatives end to end, defining milestones, holding cross-functional partners accountable, and driving them to real outcomes or business impact
- Evaluate new tools and AI-driven workflows with a clear, opinionated view on what earns a place in the stack and what doesn't
- Builds compelling business cases to secure investment in the tools worth adopting
- Build the documentation, self-serve resources, and automation that make the reactive support load shrink over time
Automation & Workflow Design
- Identify manual, repetitive processes across the go-to-market team and build automations to eliminate them (Clay, Zapier, and similar tools)
- Build self-sufficiently in Clay — tables, enrichment waterfalls, API/webhook connections, and AI-driven columns — wired into our CRM, enrichment sources, and tool stack
- Own the build, testing, and ongoing maintenance of these workflows — keeping them healthy as tools and processes evolve, not just shipping the first version
- Reduce manual effort across Sales and Customer Success wherever it shows up
CRM Requirements and Systems Partner
- Partner closely with our Salesforce Admin as the strategic link between go-to-market needs and CRM execution — gathering requirements from functional leaders, shaping them into clear, well-reasoned specs, and working together to prioritize and build the changes that move the business forward
- Own data quality standards (deduplication, field definitions, hygiene) as requirements you define and prioritize, with the Admin executing the build
Who you are:
- 2 to 4 years in a systems, operations, or GTM tooling role (revenue ops, sales ops, marketing ops, or similar)
- Hands-on experience building automations and working across the broader GTM toolstack (Clay, Gong, Zapier, or similar tools) – you have no problem learning new tools fast
- Experience evaluating or piloting AI tools in real business workflows
- Working fluency in Salesforce – comfortable in the data model and reporting, even without admin certification
- A track record of ramping up on new tools quickly and forming an independent point of view
- Strong ownership instincts – proven experience in scoping ambiguous cross-functional work and driving it with little oversight
- A clear, direct communicator who can translate between technical systems and non-technical stakeholders
- A genuine enthusiasm for working alongside Sales and Account Growth teams - you respect the grind of the role, and it shows in how you show up for them (even if you've never carried a quota yourself)
If you have read up to this point, we hope you are excited about this opportunity to work at Wonolo! Even if your experience does not check every bullet point, we still highly encourage you to apply. The best hires do not always check off every box of a job description.
Nice to haves:
- Experience building Clay tables and workflows – Clay University or Cohort training is a plus
- Salesforce admin certification (not required, but useful given the CRM/systems partnership)
Benefits and perks:
- The opportunity for growth in a mission-driven and well-funded start-up
- Company laptop
- Paid time off, Holiday pay, and Unpaid time off
- Access to no-cost on-demand mental health support, including counselling, mindfulness and meditation, and well-being courses
- Ability to work from anywhere in Colombia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, or Guatemala (no more commutes!)
- Team outings, happy hours, company off-sites, and more!
